Fn a major American customer, we delivered, installed and started up a vacuum plate dryer, model ESP, suitable for drying large "live-edge" type boards.
The installation
The installation phase required the intervention and advice of the technicians of our exclusive distributor for the United States, Bailey's (www.baileysonline.com), which also provided training for the customer's operators.

The activity of this surprising Californian reality is based on a strong sense of social responsibility, consisting in recovering large trees, fallen due to natural events, and otherwise destined to end their lives in a landfill. Thanks to their commitment and enthusiasm, the trees are cut to make live-edge boards and dimensional wood for a wide variety of uses.
Thanks to vacuum drying, with aluminium heating plates, it is possible to dry boards with large dimensions and high thickness in a short time.
The precious wood essences maintain the beautiful grain and nuances, being treated in the absence of air. The treatment carried out at low temperatures allows a stabilization of the wood, with a uniformity in the final moisture content.
